Deutsche Bank is hiring for role of Associate Engineer!

Your Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional agile team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyzing and refining stories, and then designing, testing and implementing solutions.
• Perform software analysis
• Write code in accordance with the requirements and standards
• Make suggestions for enhancements to application and infrastructure

Your Skills And Experience

• Delivers against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High analytical capabilities and able to quickly grasp new contexts
• Great at applying engineering principles to solve business problems.
• Able to come up with a stable and working design by asking relevant questions (clarifying assumptions)
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal) concisely both operational workflow and technical details
• Expresses opinions while supporting group decisions
• Practical experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in continuous integration environment
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ensures deliverables are clearly documented and holds self and others accountable for meeting those deliverables
• Ability to identify risks at an early stage and implement mitigating strategies
• Flexibility and willingness to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Ability to work in virtual global teams, agile environment and in matrixed organizations
• Treats everyone with respect and embraces diversity
• Financial markets knowledge and specifically tax (FACTA, CRS) a plus while curiosity an absolute requirement

Required:

• Java, Spring Boot, JPA, REST Services, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, IBM MQ, JUNIT, Cucumber and Serenity

Preferred:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift Kubernetes/GKE, Helm Charts in Kubernetes, Apache Camel, Kotlin, React
