Eaton is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Support Global & Local Engineering Leads on Concept creation to meet Project CTQs in line with release timelines.
- Execute Change Orders as designer and checker to meet global product releases.
- Improve existing design practices through the development of standard prints and dimension reduction.
- Prepare packaging layouts, and design concepts in 3D drafting tools Creo for current product engineering and NPI projects.
- Perform assembly stack-up & tolerance stack-up analysis to do design optimization.
- Demonstrate and leverage knowledge of engineering fundamentals and analytical skills to leverage the first approach.
- Contribute to knowledge retention through the development of standard works and best practices
Requirements:
- BE/Btech. Mechanical Engineering
- 0 to 2 years
- Strong grasp of Mechanical Engineering Concepts
- Experience in CREO or ProE
- Experience creating and interpreting Manufacturing Drawings
- Understanding of GD&T and Stackup
- Knowledge of Design considerations for various Manufacturing processes
- Fluent in English and able to communicate with team
- Experience working with cross-functional team
- Experience with stringent timelines, and support of multiple projects in parallel"
