Flowserve is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understand and execute engineering tasks with minimal guidance
- Practice a scientific approach to determine the foreseeable effects of change
- Demonstrate knowledge of seal operating windows and associated materials
- Implement engineering best practices independently
- Apply engineering lessons learned to support productivity improvement projects
- Perform complex component design for standard wet & gas seal products and seal testers
- Execute special engineering tasks such as re-engineering and new product development
- Check designs for accuracy before downstream issuance
- Utilize established business systems for reporting and analysis
- Implement Flowserve standards and generate bills of material
- Conduct engineering analysis
- Perform ATS-related engineering tasks for engineered applications
- Maintain Certified Designer status
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- Consolidate project requirements and create design guidelines
- Ensure on-time task performance
- Provide accurate engineering drawings and analysis
- Drive product cost and lead time reduction
- Respond to customer feedback
- Ensure productivity and efficiency on assigned tasks
- Perform ASPE-related engineering tasks under supervision
- Demonstrate knowledge of auxiliary systems associated with mechanical seals
Requirements:
- Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Production discipline or Equivalent (Min. 3-year course) with 5+ years of experience in engineering industries OR Engineering Graduate with 1-3 years of experience in engineering industries, preferably with Seal industry experience.
- Strong team building, organization, administration, communication, problem-solving, influencing, and facilitating skills are required to manage.
- Fluency in verbal and written English communication.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools such as Windows, MS Office products, PLM, and other related tools.
- Need to have collaborative interpersonal skills.
- Taking ownership of actions, initiating things for process betterment, and having a passion for learning and mentoring.
- Expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and 3D modelling software (Inventor/Solidworks/creo).
