Associate Electrical Engineer Job in Gandhinagar at GEA Group

GEA is hiring for the role of Associate Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities of Candidates:

• Design control panels for automation and electrical systems, including PLC, MCC, and VFD panels.
• Validate electrical designs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with customer specifications.
• Meet project deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Create various documentation related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Coordinate with the electrical team to provide mutual support.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal customers to fulfill their requirements.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Eplan P8 software, including master database management, report generation, and electrical schematics creation.
• In-depth understanding of PLC hardware and field connections, specifically with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs.
• Expertise in selecting MCC and VFD control and power components from manufacturers such as Rockwell, Siemens, and Danfoss.
• Familiarity with machinery standard IEC-60204.
• Knowledge of switchgear assembly standards IEC-61439.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to coordinate with various project teams.
• Experience in cable and busbar calculation and sizing.
• Ability to select appropriate components for hazardous area electrical and instrumentation.
• Understanding of heat-loss calculations.
