BDO is hiring for the role of Associate - Direct Tax

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage various direct tax compliance matters which include – TDS / TCS Compliances, Return of income, etc. with limited supervision/assistance of Senior team members.
• Assist in preparing lower withholding tax applications.
• Assist in preparing various replies/submissions during assessment proceedings.
• Assist in drafting replies to various client queries from a direct tax perspective.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of direct tax compliances, tax treaties, and fundamental accounting concepts.
• Good in English Communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools – Microsoft Excel, word, and PowerPoint.
• Candidates with internship/article ship experience in the direct tax domain would be preferred
• Aware of the process of Issuance of various CA certificates including Form 15CB / 15CA.
• Having basic experience in preparation and filing of TDS returns, Form 15G/15H returns, SFT;
