Oracle is hiring for the role of Associate Database Administrator!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Manage and optimize Oracle databases, ensuring smooth and scalable performance.
- Handle production databases running on UNIX environments like RHEL and OEL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship cloud-native, distributed systems.
- Develop and manage scripts in Python, Perl, and Shell to automate database operations.
- Implement Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and RAC for database management.
- Monitor and maintain high availability and replication technologies, ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- 1+ years of experience with cloud-native distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud and Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and RAC.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Electronics).
- Knowledge in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture and replication tools (Data Guard, GoldenGate).
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts.
