Bain & Company is hiring for the role of Associate - Data Science!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Break down an analytical problem into its corresponding components in a manner that their team can collaboratively go about tackling the pieces to then conquer the whole.
• Brainstorm potential models, heuristics, algorithms, and techniques and their implementation techniques with their team and the Lab's leadership which can devise optimal solutions to not just the problem at hand but also the scalability of the solution.
• Experiment and code using a variety of technologies/languages on their own to ensure zero-defect implementations of their solution(s).
• Work on new products and solutions and experiment with data science techniques.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors/Masters degree in a field linked to analytics such as Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, etc. 
• For a Bachelor, a minimum of 2 years of work experience would be required with demonstrated implementation skills.
• For a Master's, at least some internship experience and a strong master's thesis would be needed. 
• Excellent coding skills in Python and/or R and SQL would be mandatory. 
• Some exposure to and expertise in statistical learning models would also be mandatory. 
• (Good-to-have, but not necessary) Exposure to either AWS or Azure with some experience in deploying Python-based solutions on cloud platforms, Airflow, Snowflake, PySpark, Git, Docker, etc. 
• You will fit into our team-oriented structure with a college/hostel-style way of working, having the comfort of reaching out to anyone for support that can enable our clients to better.
• Ability to deliver data-driven projects.
