Maersk is hiring for the role of Associate Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate :

• Think of it as a product that has to continuously evolve in order to improve
• Use this to produce high-quality data as a foundation for our pricing by building and improving data pipelines on top of data from source systems
• Provide business value, while ensuring technical sustainability (including maintainability, reliability, performance, and availability)
• Work with data and analytics experts to enhance and expand the functionality and possible use cases for our data-driven products that meet business requirements
• Work with relevant stakeholders to understand the business processes behind the data and understand the business processes behind the data and the impact that data processing simplification can have on the final product
• Promote and drive the adoption of cutting-edge data engineering practices within the team

Requirements:

• Have a university degree, and some years of experience with data engineering or related fields, preferably in platforms and technologies like the ones we use
• Put great value in you having the right mindset, passion, and willingness to learn – much more than knowing a specific technology or programming language
• Have an agile mindset and a learning mentality and care about great engineering culture and practices
• Motivated by ensuring the datasets you work on model the domain accurately, provide maximum value for the consumers and enable more business value
