Optum is hiring for Associate Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate :

• Use different strategies of database development to meet the client functional requirement
• Be well versed with creation of reports from the scratch, apart from handling and maintaining the reports
• Analyzing the data sets and generate insights into the data
• Optimize and fine tune SQL queries in Snowflake
• Automation of existing and new data pipelines
• Developing and designing of Power BI dashboards
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Requirements :

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Hands on experience in Snowflake and other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development
• Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Understanding and collecting requirements from Business user or Business Analyst and convert that requirement into code base
• Hands on exposure in SQL (DML, DDL, DCL)
• Proven expertise in using PL/SQL development tools – SQL developer/PL/SQL Developer/Toad
• Proven excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven positive outlook with problem solving attitude.
• Proven ability to take initiative and automate and improve existing scripts and processes
