Associate Content Technical Specialist Job in Hyderabad at Thomson Reuters

• Assist in the acquisition of source material from multiple websites (governmental and others), or receive a request from the editorial to process a document as required. May research cases and legislation citations, as per process requirements.
• Create and support metadata.
• Perform duties related to the preparation of and final delivery of information such as converting, coding, merging, rendering, loading, and validation of information.
• Convert new or existing information to a coded data file for established workflows or product development enhancements.
• Incorporate and respond to input from content experts on functionality, presentation, and formatting of content.
• Assist in the delivery of the final product through the delivery of electronic files for all media.
• Work regularly on various systems, software, databases, and applications to deliver quality products.
• Assist in maintaining the integrity and completeness of work product and product databases for editorial and primary source materials.
• Analyze and assist in resolving routine problems.
• Ensure completeness, proper structure, and functionality (content verification, resolving simple issues, and review) for assigned products.
• Provide effective and timely escalation of quality issues.

Requirements:

• Entry level for professional roles, with 1-2 years of publishing experience.
• Basic XML knowledge is a must, along with good written and verbal English and communication skills.
• Able to learn quickly and apply knowledge to increasingly complex and changing work.
• Shows technical aptitude for computer applications and systems such as word processing and file management applications.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple production assignments/tasks.
• Ability to work with team members, contacts from other teams, departments, virtual and offsite teams/vendors effectively.
