Northern Trust is hiring for the role of Associate Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist in the ongoing monitoring and oversight of assigned vendors to ensure compliance with Northern Trust’s Third-Party Risk Management Program. Includes reporting on adherence to contractual KPIs, SLAs, and financial targets.
• Support the periodic QA/QC of TPRM deliverables submitted by NTAM vendor managers to ensure quality deliverables and compliance against policies. Tracks follow-up and monitors timely completion of required TPRM artifacts by vendor managers under oversight remit.
• Support and assist with coaching assigned vendor managers within the broader NTAM business on TPRM program requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships with assigned vendors and internal stakeholders. 
• Support implementation of automated controls and reporting to mitigate third-party risk.
• Support and assist with ad-hoc business and operational risk assignments and data analytics to support management decision-making.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance or Risk and/or other appropriate academic major, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to write strong PowerPoint presentations to communicate progress, issues/risks, and results. Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to tell a story. 
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to develop presentation materials
• Strong skillset inclusive of project management, Excel with the ability to organize, structure, and process data sets efficiently and effectively into meaningful and actionable insights.
• Data Visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI or equivalent tools are highly desirable.
• Highly flexible, adaptable to change, and comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent prioritization skills and comfort in dealing with ambiguity.
• Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
