Bain&Company is hiring for the role of Associate - CME!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take responsibility for the assigned work streams to deliver high quality output
• Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and build subject matter expertise in the CME domain
• Lead 1-2 analysts, under the guidance of a Project leader/Manager
• Support Project Leader/Manager with client communication, work planning, and team management
• Leverage relevant analytical tools – such as Excel, Alteryx, Python and Tableau – to deliver insightful analysis
• Collaborate and contribute effectively in a team environment, and deliver clear and professional presentations to the team/team leaders/managers
• Own up to professional development by consistently seeking actionable feedback.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate with strong academic records and 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Or postgraduate with strong academic records and 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable looking for data through sources such as Thomson Reuters, Gartner, IDC, Factiva, etc.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and exposure to tools such as Alteryx, and Tableau is a plus
• With knowledge of company financial statements, basic financial terminologies, and ratios
• Fast and eager learner – ready to ramp up on newer problems and topics
• Thinks like an owner – pushes boundaries of their own work
• Experienced in Transmission Tech such as 5G/LTE/VoLTE/M-MIMO optimization & related KPIs.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Python/Linux
• Understands Telecom Optimization tools, CTR data, Network Performance metrics (PRB Utils, Throughput, etc.), LTE/VoLTE planning fundamentals, and has a knack for analytics.
• Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever-changing project expectations and client needs
• Collaborative working style, maturity, and confidence to deliver flawlessly
• Eagerness to learn the finer nuances within the Telecom, Media, and Entertainment industry.
