About this Job
Akamai Technologies is hiring for the role of Associate Cloud Support Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues.
- Providing technical/team leadership and direction to AkaTec organisation
- Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams
- Leading investigations across Akamai's Distributed Network for optimised performance and delivery for customers
- Analysing existing technical issues across Akamai's Distributed Networks and proposing solutions to prevent issues from recurring.
Requirements:
- Have 6 months -2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields.
- Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers
- Be well-versed in how the internet works, its underlying protocols, with an understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.
- Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix
- Be able to prioritise workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying technical ability.
