Bain & Company is hiring for the role of Associate - Chemical Expert!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth in the chemical industry
• Develop and implement strategies to capture market share and increase revenue
• Manage relationships with key customers and partners
• Provide technical expertise to clients on chemical products and processes
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns
• Track and measure the success of marketing initiatives

Requirements:

• Candidate should have an MBA from a top-tier College with strong academic records with 1-5 years of experience in consulting for ENR clients. 
• Candidates should possess excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team player skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. 
• Should possess strong Excel Modeling and PowerPoint skills. 
• A good understanding of any of the ENR subsectors is an added advantage.
• Candidate should be currently working in strategy consulting/research-oriented set-up and possess the acumen to  solve open-ended problems.
• Must have experience working in the Chemical sector specifically.
• Proficient in research and analysis, as well as able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where  data is not easily available or explicitly published.
• Able to interface with primary client contacts (Bain case teams from ME offices).
• May have first-level team management responsibility, which involves allocating and reviewing work to a small team of analysts and conducting performance/feedback discussions.
