UPS is hiring for the role of Associate Applications Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications.
- Develop small features or components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, or adapt it to new requirements.
- Provide basic support for deployed applications.
- Troubleshoot reported issues and assist in bug fixes.
- Help with updating application documentation after changes or updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic front-end frameworks).
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
- Exposure to software development tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA).
- Basic understanding of APIs, web services, and RESTful architecture.
