NTT Data is hiring for the role of Associate Application Engineer, ITHub!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist in developing applications to meet client objectives and user needs.
• Design and write code for applications while maintaining application databases.
• Analyze and edit existing software applications to enhance functionality, fix problems, and support new hardware platforms.
• Remodel and adapt applications as needed to optimize performance based on detailed instructions.
• Identify specific client needs and preferences related to the application.
• Support extensive testing of applications to ensure they are error and bug-free.
• Install applications and act as a technical advisor.
• Communicate with internal technical stakeholders to gather information on project limitations and performance requirements.
• Consult with clients during the design phase to ascertain their needs.
• Produce software documentation following company processes and templates.
• Support software product review and team meetings.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Basic experience in software application engineering or development.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python, or C++.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) and SQL.
• Knowledge of the software development process and agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Good attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle client and customer issues professionally.
• Certifications in programming languages and project management are preferred.
