Black Rock is hiring for the position of Associate, Application Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive continuous development and innovation across web, mobile apps, data models, and analytics
• Contribute to the growth of product offerings in various business domains
• Execute implementations, scalability, and adaptations of products globally
• Collaborate with Cash Technology team to deliver Aladdin and liquidity management platforms
• Build high-quality, user-friendly, and visually appealing software solutions
• Translate ideas, business opportunities, and creative vision into effective solutions
• Ensure solutions are clear, useful, and high-performing for end users
• Work closely with engineering team members and business partners
• Contribute to the creation of resilient and scalable software solutions
• Play a key role in re-architecting and redesigning the platform for growth
• Channel team energy, experience, and enthusiasm toward achieving goals

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in development of transactional, consumer-facing mobile or web applications including architectural design
• Skills in enterprise software development in Java and Angular/ React
• Experience with Azure and containerization is a plus
• Interest to learn new coding languages, technologies as needed
• Ability to collaborate with development and QA team members, business analysts, UX/UI designers to ensure delivery meets high-quality standards and effectively act on internal feedback, user testing results and findings to iterate solutions that deliver more value for the user and business
• Strong communication and presentation skills in explaining your proposed solutions and improvement ideas
