Canada Worldwide (CWW) is a Shipping, Logistics and Warehousing company based out of Canada. CWW operates www.eshipper.com, the #1 shipping aggregation platform for customers in Canada. eShipper provides services in Canada as well as the US. TechHaus is CWW’s technology arm, and is responsible for running and maintaining the eShipper platform, as well as many other technology assets. Built around modern technologies like Spring Boot, Angular and AWS Cloud, the eShipper platform has been designed and developed grounds-up to provide 100% availability to customers, along with desktop-quality user experience.

The Role:
Associate Technology – Angular is responsible for writing frontend Angular code.

Key activities for the role will be:
• Gather and document requirements for IT platforms;
• Develop software code as per the architecture and coding standards;
• Create and evolve robust and scalable software design solutions;
• Write unit test cases and perform unit testing;
• Develop performance test cases and perform performance testing for frontend applications;
• Install and maintain development and test environments;
• Perform monitoring, maintenance and support activities for production and other critical environments.

Mandatory Experience:
• 1-2 years of work experience with Angular 10 and above
• Fluent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming with Typescript;
• Strong experience with RxJS, ;
• Strong knowledge of developing web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript; • Strong knowledge of responsive design;
• Strong knowledge of unit test automation using Jasmine;
• Strong knowledge of integrating REST APIs.

Preferred Experience:
• Ability to interpret UML use case, class, sequence and activity diagrams;
• Experience working in the Logistics domain;
• Experience integrating OpenAPI based APIs.
