Deloitte is hiring for the role of Associate Analyst (US Payroll)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work in Data Maintenance team in Payroll onboarding new hires in HR Online
• Make employee life cycle changes to an employee record
• Support MIS for headcount recons, payroll processing and support the annual comp load activity
• Coordinate and process all onboarding components for new employees, including online new hire documentation
• Process all separations, salary continuations, transfers process payroll/personnel data changes, withholding tax compliance, social security direct deposits, salary changes, sign-on bonuses, employee loans and reimbursement
• Handle various payroll inquiries from employees or HR to understand basic payroll transactions and terminology for our organization
• Handle the basics of the position following the specific instructions, guidelines and set procedures
• Compute the Full and Final Settlements of separated employees with stringent deadlines.
• Liaise and coordinate with the HR operations team, other colleagues in the general ledger accounting and the FTP/Payroll Team on the scheduled activities
• Flag off exceptions observed in the data submission by HR colleagues and ensure arithmetical accuracy etc
• Ensure strict compliance with PII guidelines

• Any Graduate, preferably in finance
• 0 – 2 years of relevant experience
• Basic to advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP HR systems and accounting packages
• In-depth experience with payroll processing activities, analysis and management reporting
• Good understanding of business terminology, business operations, and financial policies and internal controls
• Integrity high ethical standards and commitment to data privacy
• Ability to identify complex issues related to nonstandard transactions and processes, and develop solutions to address relevant situations
• Ability to work in a flexible, high pressure and client-driven work environment
• Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills required
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize work, document, and report concisely
• A typing speed of 45-50 words per minute with data entry capabilities at 7000 kph with 5% or less errors
• Good verbal, written communication and documentation skills
