Associate Analyst - Packaging Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Associate Analyst - Packaging!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist the timely development of new and existing primary and secondary packaging through concept, design, and pilot production in accordance with cost specifications and coordinate these efforts with stakeholders and vendor resources for all Businesses.
• Work with Eaton locations to create pallet patterns to maintain optimal efficiency for storage and transport
• Generate 3D concepts, Sequence of operations, and manufacturing drawings
• Publish packaging compliance reports – source data SAP
• Spend data reporting through PowerBI
• Define value stream mapping for projects/ processes
• Evaluate end-to-end value chain for total cost of ownership opportunities
• Create and maintain packaging specifications for primary and secondary packaging
• Prepare Engineering Change Orders for packaging-related portions of new Bills of Material (BOM) on new items, any packaging-related revisions to BOMs, and any revisions of packaging components
• Work with graphics designers and marketing functions to create, review, and approve packaging artwork suitable for mass production that includes all required markings for electrical and trade compliance
• Maintain communication with the Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Sourcing, and Manufacturing departments to ensure the timely development and introduction of new packaging and efficient maintenance of existing packaging
• Support technical analysis, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of packaging materials design and configurations
• Work with supplier quality & development function in supporting package performance including, documentation, communication, analysis, trouble-shooting, and follow-up
• Identify, evaluate, and implement packaging innovation to align with company objectives and customer needs including cost, performance, functionality, and design
• Share best practices, maintaining a central data repository by supplier, commodity, etc

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Packaging from an accredited institution required
• Basic technical competence and packaging component knowledge
• Basic supply chain knowledge
• Proficient in the use of MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in packaging role
• Hands-on experience with packaging design tools like Artios CAD, 3D CAD software
• Power BI Knowledge
• Experience in process development
• Experience with SAP or other large enterprise data systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office, and production engineering support – emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, formulas)
• Ability to communicate with various levels of an organization
• Maintain relationships with internal and external contacts
• Strong analytical thinking skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability
• Effective interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, develop employees, and facilitate corrective action while fostering an environment that supports Eaton's values & philosophy
