Associate Analyst l Job in Bangalore at Asteria Aerospace

Asteria Aerospace is hiring for the role of Associate Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyse aerial data collected from drones, including high-resolution imagery and lidar data.
• Image stitching and orthomosaic generation.
• Digitization for identifying and mapping encroachments along pipelines.
• Visual inspections using orthomosaic for pipeline monitoring and management.
• Utilize software such as Pix4D or Agisoft Meta shape for data processing.
• Work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS for spatial data storage and management.
• Ensure data integrity and efficient querying for geospatial applications.
• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations based on geospatial analysis.
• Summarize findings and insights for internal and client use.
• Assist the team with GIS-based spatial analysis and data visualization.
• Maintain and update geospatial databases.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS etc.).
• Familiarity with drone data processing tools (Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, or similar).
• Basic understanding of photogrammetry and remote sensing principles.
