Colgate is hiring for the role of Associate Analyst I - Finance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Reviewing, verifying & posting PO/NPO invoices (3rd Party/Inter-company)
• Liaising with CAs to acquire remittance certificates
• Understanding and passing Goods in Transit and accrual entries at the time of periodic closing of books
• Initiating and participating in continuous improvement projects
• Maintaining high efficiency and accuracy
• Ensuring adequate controls over the process are maintained
• Preparing MIS for meeting management requirements
• Ensuring accurate rate of GST/ TDS has been deducted
• Performing vendor account reconciliation, resolving the differences, and acquire sign-offs
• Analyzing old vendor balances and clear issues arising thereof
• Reviewing of debit balances in vendor accounts and resolution of the same
• Reviewing of open Purchase Orders and highlight exceptions
• Duplicate invoice checking
• Generating, analyzing, and clearing the GRIR report
• Reviewing and timely resolution of all audit queries
• Understanding and passing Goods in Transit and accrual entries at the time of periodic closing of books
• Preparing and Maintaining SOX documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Min 2+ year experience
• SAP
• GST provisions and withholding tax
• Knowledge of Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit
