SG Analytics is hiring for the role of Associate Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare and update Investment notes on Equity Coverage Universe
• Assist senior and lead analyst on various research tasks such as doing secondary research, data gathering and any other ad-hoc request
• Should be able to comprehend the company’s business model and basics of the sectors
• The candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and an eye for details
• Understanding of past and current affairs in the global financial markets to form an informed view
• Must have a sound understanding of basic financial concepts, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, key financial ratios, etc
• Should have a basic understanding of different valuation concepts
• Ensure that the assigned tasks are completed within the deadline and ensure a top-quality output with a self-driven quality-check process.
• Maintain flexibility to learn new techniques and functionalities and gain exposure to various types of assignments.
• Contribute to SGA knowledge creation and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in Equity research engagements and should have MBA/CFA/CA
• Should be able to write thoughtful research notes and build financial models
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
