Tesco is hiring for the role of Associate - Accounts Receivables!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Reconciling stores Tender A/c with credits received in Tesco bank accounts from issuers/3rd party service providers.
• Ensuring all differences are investigated & resolved to minimize tender losses.
• Maintaining regular communication with Store colleagues; 3rd party service providers; banks & other Finance teams on operational aspects.
• Resolving queries from Store Colleagues on tender losses and cash in Transit (CIT).
• Posting Period close transactions; ensuring any accounting errors are resolved before closing.
• Generating ideas for operational improvements by applying Continuous Improvement.
• Generating automation opportunities to simplify operations; improve First Time Right; and reduce compliance efforts.
• Providing support to Lead; Manager to analyze and generate insights for reducing tender losses
• Supporting Internal; Group & ad-hoc audit requests for data - Building in-depth understanding of Tesco processes & business priorities.
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
