Asian Paints is hiring for the role of Assitant Manager - Plant Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure proper functioning Instruments & Software’s like DCS for
• Ensures smooth running of PLC system, SCADA system , EPSC system, weighing balances, flow meters etc. within the plants
• Ensure & maintained calibration schedule & to maintain proper quality records and history cards for Instruments of all the plants.
• Ensure & carry out preventive & breakdown maintenance of Instruments in time, to minimize downtime of equipment
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9000 / 2004 & EMS 14001 Standards in all activities related to Instrumentation on site.
• Execute and manage effectively breakdown and Preventive Maintenance.• Implementation of SOPs & work instruction
• Manage the project activities related to Automation / instrumentation within a designated plant within the agreed budget and the time frame.
• Conceive and implement modern maintenance techniques and having creative Zeal for New technologies.
• Update Instruments specifications / drawings and other
• Train technicians / Senior Officers on best practices of instrumentation and DCS Systems.
• Manage a team of 3-4 Executive (Engineers & technicians) and align them to meet the company objectives
• See that the installation and maintenance of plant and equipment are carried out as per national / international / Asian Paints norms for installation standards, environmental protection and safety

Requirements:

• Follow all Documentation Management System like MOC, Procurement, Invoice Management Systems, Compliances
• Familiar on root cause analysis, FMEA, HAZOP, HIRA and problem-solving techniques to identify the exact problem to propose change in design or logic to permanently solve the problems.
• Should have good control system knowledge & hands on experience in DCS. All logic changes in DCS, PLC shall be assessed prior to implementation of the same by other users. Responsible for Validation post implementation and updating of control philosophy, P&ID etc.
• Should have good knowledge in SAP Modules for line integration like SAP MII, SAP EWM, SAP ECC etc.
