Assistant Site Project Manager Job in Kolkata at KSL Cleantech Limited

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution Planning:

• Plan and prepare detailed execution schedules at the site level.
• Allocate resources and define timelines to ensure smooth project progress.

2. Project Execution & Installation:

• Supervise on-site installation activities of solar systems.
• Ensure all work is completed as per design and within the defined project timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients for seamless execution.
• Maintain HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) standards during all stages of project execution.

3. Quality Control & Compliance:

• Monitor delivery and storage of project materials for quality and quantity.
• Inspect system components and ensure installations adhere to technical drawings and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and electrical regulations.
• Maintain and manage documentation required for regulatory and project compliance.

4. Plant Testing, Commissioning & Performance Monitoring:

Conduct system testing and commissioning of the solar plant.

Verify system performance metrics and resolve underperformance issues.

Coordinate with the performance monitoring team for handover and reporting.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to update progress and handle site queries.
• Share daily job status reports with the reporting manager.
• Attend coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

6. Documentation:

• Maintain site-level documentation including installation checklists, quality reports, and commissioning reports.
• Ensure all statutory and project documentation is updated and properly filed.

7. Site Survey (Pre-sales):

• Conduct pre-sales site surveys to assess technical feasibility.
• Prepare site survey reports and share insights with the design and BD teams.

8. Site Survey (Post-sales):

• Conduct detailed surveys post-sales for execution planning.
• Assist in preparation of execution-level drawings and reports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• 4 - 5 years of experience in solar project execution (rooftop or ground-mounted).
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, installation practices, and site safety protocols.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using basic electrical testing tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills with ability to manage teams and vendors.
• Should have managed mw scale rooftop / ground mounted project

Preferred Skills:

• MS Project / Excel for project scheduling and reporting
• Experience in handling projects under various subsidy or net-metering regimes
