Mahindra and Mahindra is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Vehicle Validation!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Plan & execute vehicle validation- Durability validation for all MLMML Products 3Wheeler & 4 Wheelers -EVs & IC Engine vehicles
• Monitor and conduct daily work management meeting, schedule vehicles for testing, allocation of drivers, collect failure feedback, conduct daily inspection and prepare daily reports
• Conduct jury trials and evaluate vehicles for functional image
• Plan for resources for vehicle durability testing
• Conduct Gemba meetings for the status and failure discussion
• Coordinate with stakeholders, test drivers and technicians for the execution of vehicle durability
• Complete Vehicle Durability & DVP tests as per Project timelines
• Test routes planning as per RWUP usage and deployment. Outdoor testing planning and execution
• Report generation, reviews, and circulation
• Concern escalation, review by arranging meetings, root cause analysis, and monitoring the actions for revalidation and closure
• Part life evaluation- wearable components – Brakes, Tyre, Oil
• Simulate field (customer usage) failures during vehicle validation
• Collect and analyze of vehicle-level CAN and NEMO data

Requirements:

• Vehicle Durability/Endurance/Performance testing
• Electric and Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle -Functional and technical knowledge
• Valid Licence – 4 Wheeler & 3 Wheeler and experience in driving and evaluation
• Failure analysis in Passenger/Commercial vehicles using QC tools
• Wear & tear measurements of brakes, tires, clutch etc.
• Shop floor equipment's operation and management
• Technician & test drivers management
• Knowledge/hands-on Experience on Electric Vehicles
• Understanding of Product development process
• Knowledge on CAN, Vector Tools (CANALYZER, CANOE etc.,), PCAN, ETAS tools, Ipetronics, IMC instruments. Knowledge of diagnostics Protocols
• Should be able to interpret and understand the DFME, Architecture and Functional logic
