Assistant Manager – Taxation Job in Gurugram at Sammaan Capital Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage direct tax matters including Income Tax returns, TDS, advance tax, and assessments
• Handle indirect taxation such as GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance
• Ensure timely filing of returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
• Prepare and review tax computations and reports
• Liaise with tax authorities for notices, assessments, and audits
• Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with updated regulations
• Assist in tax planning and advisory to minimize tax liabilities
• Conduct tax audits and support statutory audit processes
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related activities
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for tax matters

Qualification and skills:

• Strong knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation (GST, Income Tax, TDS)
• Good understanding of tax laws and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
