AkzoNobel is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Supply Planning!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive factory-wise SKU-wise production planning for the next 24 months and weekly plans for the immediate month for ICO, SC, and CE sites
• Develop Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) for the sites
• Revise factory-wise SKU-wise production plans weekly for the forward 3 quarters based on changes proposed in the S&OE meetings
• Lead Kaizen projects in production planning, including batch size rationalization and MRP output accuracy improvement
• Drive weekly S&OE meetings for ICO, SC, and CE India in collaboration with the Demand Planner
• Conduct biweekly SWAT meetings to address production planning challenges
• Share and review the agreed priority production plans every week
• Conduct daily meetings with the Scheduler to align on priorities and with the RM Planning team to coordinate raw material priorities
• Execute network changes in the production plan to support network optimization
• Use ANBI for OTIF reporting and prepare gap-closing actions for performance losses
• Support timely production of export volumes for the cluster or region
• Update the SLOB report in the monthly IHART tracker and monitor the progress of SLOB reduction actions
• Update and circulate the Daily Stock Status Report
• Coordinate ordering of imported finished goods based on forecast requirements
• Act as the focal point in India for bonding exports to Australia, coordinating with all relevant local functions

Requirements:

• University Education (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent qualification
• Relevant Work experience of 2-3 years in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail
• Focused on results
• Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations
• Strong desire to challenge and improve status-quo
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and able to work under-pressure
• Fluent and able to work in English
