Assistant Manager - Sourcing Job in Gurgaon at Genpact

Genpact is hiring for the role of Associate Manager-Sourcing!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Bring in the required expertise across Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L) categories such as Leases, Infrastructure Services, Facility Management, Engineering, Site Setup, Transport, etc.
• Deliver significant value to Genpact through strategic sourcing engagements and supplier management activities within the I&L Category, with an annual spend value above $100M.
• Take the lead and contribute to the Procurement Organization to deliver the results defined by the procurement plan in support of the broader business requirements.
• Create requests for proposals (RFP) and review bids.
• Analyze the cost between vendors to source the best product for the organization.
• Create contract terms and conditions, negotiate terms, and implement services.
• Drive supplier performance, demand management savings, and increase category compliance.
• Contribute and drive overall priorities according to the defined yearly objectives.
• Estimate and propose initiatives to deliver savings within the area of responsibility and identify additional opportunities.
• Understand and achieve sourcing category deliverables, savings commitments, milestones, and obligations, and establish a project plan to meet each.
• Liaise with Coordinators and within the team to resolve vendor disputes when necessary.

Requirements:

• Graduation degree in Science/Commerce/Business.
• Relevant years of experience in Sourcing/Category Management in Manufacturing/BPO industries.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient understanding of indirect spend categories like MRO, Facilities,
• Purchased Services, and their buying patterns.
• Strong customer-centric focus with a 'CAN-DO' attitude.
• Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in negotiation skills.
• Proactive and persuasive relationship with client stakeholders.
• Good exposure to global suppliers by indirect spend categories.
