Viacom18 is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Scheduling, Sports!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Create and update the Fixed Programming Calendar, encompassing live events, pre-recorded shows, and other sports content. Ensure alignment between the FPC and the company's content strategy and programming objectives
- Collaborate closely with the Content Acquisition and Production teams to accurately schedule and deliver content on time. Coordinate effectively with the Traffic and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution of the FPC
- Analyze viewership data, trends, and audience preferences to optimize the FPC for maximum engagement and revenue generation. Make data-driven decisions to schedule content in prime slots to maximize viewership and ad revenue
- Develop and maintain efficient scheduling workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on the FPC
Requirements:
- Candidates with proven experience in content scheduling, preferably in the sports or media industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions, is a must
- Professionals with expertise in scheduling software and tools
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities is a huge plus
