Plum is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Sales MIS!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing sales orders, processing contracts, and managing client data. Ensure accurate and timely order processing.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, tracking performance metrics, sales targets, and achievements against set goal. Manage Fill rate of all offline distributors. 
  • Customer Coordination: Communicate with distributors, retailers, and customers to facilitate smooth order execution, deliveries, and resolve sales-related queries.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions, promotional activities, contracts, and client communications. Ensure seamless documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Data Entry & CRM Management: Accurately input and update sales leads, customer data, and inventory information in SAP
  • inventory Coordination: Liaise with the inventory and warehouse team to ensure stock availability, monitor product shelf life, and track product movement
  • Product Launches & Promotions: Assist in coordinating product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales incentives. Track promotional activities and measure the effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze sales data to identify trends, product performance, regional sales, and consumer behavior. Provide actionable insights to optimize sales strategies and target key markets.
  • Performance Dashboards: Create dashboards to visualize sales trends, product movement, and distribution performance for internal and management use.
  • Sales Forecasting: Assist in sales forecasting by providing data-backed insights on inventory levels, seasonal demand, and sales cycle patterns. NPD and Sales SKU Planning. 
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting & Support: Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis for senior management, product teams, and other departments as required
  • Co-ordination with SCM: Coordinate with supply Team to ensure timely delivery of products to CFAs as per Forward Demand.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. A specialization in FMCG or Sales is a plus
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales administration, MIS reporting, or data analysis within the FMCG industry
  • Technical Skills
  • Sales and Distribution Knowledge: Understanding of the FMCG sales cycle, distribution network, trade marketing, and retail operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, identify patterns, and develop data-driven recommendations.
