Genpact is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - RTR!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Contribute to the monthly corporate reporting process
  • Gather and prepare journal entries
  • Prepare financial reporting for forecast and budget
  • Review monthly client P&Ls and distribute them
  • Analyze and review balance sheet accounts and expense accounts monthly
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Analyze expense accounts for trends and reasons for increases
  • Analyze and prepare/reverse monthly accruals
  • Maintain coding invoices to proper expense accounts to ensure costs are properly captured
  • Reconcile payroll
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Manage intercompany balances
  • Review all intercompany invoices and post-related transactions
  • Reconcile all intercompany accounts
  • Prepare monthly Management Packs for Finance Directors
  • Conduct Variance Analysis with meaningful explanations
  • Perform Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Conduct Actual VS Forecast walkthrough
  • Report by Business Line

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – B.Com, M.COM/MBA
  • Relevant experience in F&A in the RTR process
  • Experience in the Insurance industry will be an added advantage
  • A thorough understanding of the P/L & B/S reporting process and prior experience in HFM is preferable 
  • Ability to understand instructions, analyse transactions, match transactions & report correct reconciliations.
  • Ensure all controls are followed & existing exceptions/responses are reviewed before finalizing reconciliations
  • Ability to handle varied volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis
  • Strong organization and computer skills
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders on day-to-day routine activities
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts and Eye for detail with quick response time

  • A passionate individual who can gain a big-picture view of a company’s finance and accounting operations, and make contributions in the areas of Accounting and Reporting by providing standard process improvements in these areas
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts, processes and key controls, policies, reporting and budgeting principles
