Standard Chartered is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager- Product Control!
Responsibilities of Candidate:
- Helping in design and implementing new control processes for businesses that currently do not have any Product Control function.
- Running the PC function of the Credit business.
- Monitoring of key controls/processes around Daily PnL and Balance Sheet.
- Ensuring that all controls are followed, completed, and reviewed in a timely manner.
- Liaising with different stakeholders such as IT, Country and Business Finance teams, and Operations, to ensure timely resolution of the issues.
- Reviewing the Daily/Monthly reconciliations between the various TP systems and the General Ledger.
- Assisting the design, testing, and implementation of TP data integrity/exception reports.
- Reviewing the month-end balance sheet substantiation of PC-owned balances.
- Assist in the implementation of sound controls and consistent processes to ensure adherence to IFRS9.
- Providing assistance with accurate Classification and Measurement of Financial Instruments as per IFRS 9.
Requirements:
- CA / MBA / CFA / FRM / ACCA with 2 - 6 years of work experience
- Post Graduate (Finance) with 4 - 6 years of work experience
