Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Procurement Strategy Development: Design and implement robust procurement strategies tailored to the specific needs of manufacturing projects, focusing on cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and optimize supplier relationships to ensure high performance, meeting quality standards, and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Sourcing and Contract Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end procurement process for manufacturing materials and services, including sourcing, drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets for each project.
• Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with inventory teams to implement effective stock management strategies, minimizing lead times and ensuring the availability of critical materials for manufacturing operations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with project and manufacturing teams to understand material requirements and provide regular procurement status updates. Address procurement-related issues proactively to avoid delays.
• Process Improvement and Technology Integration: Continuously evaluate and enhance procurement processes by adopting industry best practices and leveraging technology solutions for more efficient procurement operations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials, addressing any disruptions swiftly to maintain project timelines.

Requirements:

• Any graduate or MBA with 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Procurement of capex/Opex/Services.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including negotiation skills, e-sourcing tools, and e-auctions is beneficial.
