Mahindra is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Process Engineering & Simulation!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Integrating respective functional areas (Vehicle Assembly) for a project. 
  
• Implementing Global Manufacturing Strategies, especially BOP and BOE. 
  
• Providing functional area deliverables including respective Manufacturing processes. 
  
• Identifying and resolving issues. Ensuring implementation of Process Driven Product
• Designing (Manufacturing Requirements) and manufacturable parts. 
  
• Preparing the manufacturing Strategy for the New product development. 
  
• Budgeting based on Product assumptions and Process Synergies. 
  
• Understanding of the New Product based on PALS and PDB. 
  
• Conducting simulation studies to give real-time feedback to Designers. 
  
• Conducting Virtual builds to check the issues upfront and provide feedback to designers. 
  
• Leading role in Developing and Establishing the Process planning, documentation, and process sheet preparation. 
  
• Ensuring the Digitalisation and Standardisation of all the Project Activities. 
  
• Developing Line and lineside Logistics layout. 
  
• Addressing manufacturing concerns by Establishing Ergonomics standards. 
  
• Preparing RFQ/Scope and Supplier Technical evaluation for Tools and Small fixtures. 
  
• Installation and commissioning of equipment with punch item list and without missing the Project Timelines. 
  
• Coordinating with supplier and Plant (Customer) to eliminate new equipment installation and commissioning Issues. 
  
• Supporting production department for day-to-day activities and smooth implementation of Installed Equipment and processes. 
  
• Manufacturing feasibility study for new product requirements in existing facilities. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Automobile
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Assembly, Production
• Should be flexible for the implementation of the project at multiple plant locations.
