Assistant Manager- Process Engineering Job in Mumbai at Mahindra Group

Mahindra Group is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager- Process Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Product Feasibility and Process Flow analysis, study for vehicle assembly and feed back to R&D.
• Assembly process planning of Body in White in digital manufacturing
• Implementing Global Manufacturing Strategies especially BOP and BOE
• Ensuring implementation of Process Driven Product Designs (manufacturing requirements), manufacturable parts
• Preparing the manufacturing strategy for the New Product Development
• Benchmarking BIW product, Body Shop processes and FTGs with Engineering Design and equipment team
• Conducting simulation studies to give a real time feedback to Designers, Virtual builds to check the Issues upfront and provide feedback to designers
• Ensuring the Digitalization and Standardization of all the Project Activities
• Developing line and lineside Logistics layout
• Addressing manufacturing concerns by Establishing Ergonomics standards
• Installation and commissioning of equipment with punch item list and without missing the Project Time lines
• Coordinate with supplier and Plant (Customer) for eliminating new equipment installation and commissioning Issues
• Do simultaneous Engineering study, develop station plan, process sheets and build line layout for new product development

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 
• Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile 
• Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 
• Analytical Thinking
• Communication Skills
• Leadership Skills
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Assembly, Production, BIW
