Flipkart is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Metric Ownership: Owning key hyperlocal metrics (Customer On-time, Breach, RTO, Cancellations, CTO) and tracking supply chain health.
• Dashboards & Monitoring: Building dashboards to monitor shipment flow, pendencies, cut-off misses, and breach risks in real-time.
• Disruption Management: Building and exercising levers for new scenarios and managing real-time breakdowns (Tech/Ops/External), ensuring quick communication to stakeholders.
• Event Program Management: Leading the preparation and execution for major events such as sales.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Acting as the single point of contact for Product, Tech, Ops, and Design to manage disruptions and provide operational inputs for customer service/speed/reliability improvements.

Requirements:

• Understanding of Supply Chain / Logistics Metrics, specifically in a Hyperlocal or E-commerce context (On-time, Breach, RTO, etc.).
• Proven experience in building and analyzing operational dashboards (e.g., using SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Strong Program Management and organizational skills, particularly for managing large, complex, and high-stakes business events.
• Strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate technical, operational, and design teams.
• Familiarity with Product/Tech development lifecycles and providing operational requirements/inputs.
• Experience in process mapping and playbook creation.
• Prior experience in a high-growth startup or a dynamic e-commerce environment.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Rigor: Ability to identify root causes using data and conceptualize scalable solutions.
• Execution Focus (E2E): Emphasis on driving initiatives from conceptualization through to final, successful implementation in the operational field.
• Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrated track record of taking end-to-end responsibility for critical business outcomes and metrics.
• Crisis Management & Communication: Effectiveness in managing real-time disruptions and clearly communicating status and action plans to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking & Levers: The ability to think beyond immediate fixes and design structural "levers" to manage future potential scenarios.
