Assistant Manager/Manager - Vehicle Assembly Job in Aurangabad at Bajaj Auto Limited

Bajaj Auto is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager - Vehicle Assembly!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure availability of Men & Materials for executing daily production of 3WH products as per plan.
• Plan and execute all manufacturing activities to achieve daily targets without any defects from the conveyor.
• Plan and implement TPM systems in the work area to achieve the highest OLE (Overall Line Efficiency) and sustain.
• Ensure the availability of all facilities on the conveyor including special tools, and equipment for smooth production.
• Coordinate activities related to maintenance with the Maintenance team.
• Plan to manufacture new/upgraded product batches for various countries as per plan (Pre-pilot, pilot, etc.)
• Interface (internal) with  QA/PPC/Mfg. Engineering for day-to-day activities of the shop and improvement projects.
• Plan and implement pokayoke and automation proposals in the work area for PQCDSM. improvements and material flow/handling improvements.
• Ensure implementation of 5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.
• Guide cell members on daily issues and get the work done from them more effectively.
• Ensure safe working conditions & culture in the work area to prevent any type of accidents.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Line Balancing technique/calculating work contents on assembly conveyor
• Understanding of the latest assembly techniques, assembly tools, fixtures, and material handling equipment
• TPM
• Knowledge and exposure to implementing QMS and SHEMS systems
• Production planning – Machine, Manpower & Material availability
• Knowledge of Quality Systems
• Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed institute, preferably from Mech/Auto discipline
• Experience:  Min. 5 years, preferably in the Automobile/Engineering Industry
• Age: Around 28 – 35  years
