Bajaj Auto is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager - Paint Shop !

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure smooth operations of paint shop lines: Plan and achieve shift-wise production targets as per quality standards.
• Provide support to team members in the shops to improve in PQCDSM parameters.
• Coordinate hassle-free introduction of new models as per management plans.
• Coordinate with the Automation team to convert manual processes into automation.
• Plan to analyze to improve line RFT / OLE/ DPR.
• Create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working.
• Maintain safety of equipment & people by monitoring safety interlocks.
• Find cost-effective solutions for the consumable Items by monitoring, analyzing, and implementing ideas/Kaizens.

Requirements:

• Knows and is able to drive painting Process/Productivity improvements, and VAVE cost-saving proposals for Paint shop operations.
• Knowledge of Best painting of products, processes, and equipment used in automobile industries for multi-model Paint shops.
• Aware of the latest developments and techniques used for painting and automation.
• Knowledge about painting equipment including electrostatic painting application and paint kitchen etc.
• Knowledge about paint testing, Paint application parameters & troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and provide a supporting hand to customers (Internal and External)
• Should have knowledge and exposure in the implementation of:TPM systems, including JH/KK/E&T/QM pillar activities.
  Compliance with various ISO System Audits – QMS, EMS, OHSAS
  Material Flow, Material Handling improvement
  Poka-yoke and Automation for defect-free production.
  Cost reduction methods and techniques associated to work area
  Able to derive energy conservation ideas
  5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.
