About the Opportunity:

• In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives across the IT product and services categories, including hardware, software, and cloud services. The individual will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization strategies while maintaining high service levels. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT procurement landscape, technology trends, and supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT products and services.
  • Identify and select suppliers based on cost, quality, innovation, and capability.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, from market research to contract negotiation.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
• Vendor Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth vendor onboarding and communication.
• Contract & Cost Management
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers alongside legal.
  • Manage contract renewals and updates.
  • Drive cost optimization through competitive bidding and TCO analysis.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Align sourcing strategies with IT, finance, legal, and business goals.
  • Report procurement status, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Compliance & Risk
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (CIPS, CPSM) is a plus. 
• The Proficient, in sourcing or procurement, focusing on the IT category (hardware, software, services). 
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in the IT sector.
• In-depth knowledge of IT sourcing processes, including contract terms, service level agreements, and IT licensing models. 
• Familiarity with cloud services, SaaS, and IT infrastructure solutions. 
• Experience in managing global sourcing and cross-functional teams.
