Assistant Manager, HRO Job in Kolkata at Genpact

Genpact is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager, HRO!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage operational activities of payroll and time service delivery
• Manage data and payroll processing services to ensure that all employees in the region are paid on time and accurately and that related statutory and governmental duties are met
• Drive successful tax reconciliation and year-end payroll processes/ activities
• Validate all payments and deductions and improve accuracy controls
• Handle reporting requests to support decision-making
• Ensure customer queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner
• Oversee process improvements to ensure efficient and accurate data and payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, payroll accounting, and record retention
• Oversee all payroll compliance and SOX controls are effective and managed by defined policy and audit plans.
• Partner with finance to ensure all data is efficiently managed in the finance system
• Serve as an escalation point of contact
• Interact, on a regular basis, with payroll and data vendors to work on changes, solutions, and improvements
• Contribute to the regular operations review and quarterly business review of client’s payroll vendors’ performance relative to contractual service level agreements between such vendor and client
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional operation, technical, and corporate teams to successfully manage large-scale projects such as continuous improvement initiatives, technology updates/upgrades, acquisitions/divestitures, etc.

Requirements:

• Any Graduate / Postgraduate
• Excellent soft skills in dealing with sensitive employee grievances or relations
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English
• PGDBM / Relevant certification in HR will be preferred
• Experience in Workday & ServiceNow
• Green belt/ Lean Six Sigma certified
• Relevant experience in 1-year HRO domain
