Assistant Manager - Global Procurement Job in Pune at Zscaler Softech India Pvt. Limited

Zscaler is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Global Procurement!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work closely with Global Procurement Leader (Marketing) and our end customers while assisting in generating and sustaining savings across all marketing spending areas
• Leverage Zscaler's knowledge, experience, and resources to reduce category spend, mitigate risk, and provide procurement expertise to our internal customers.
• Managing quote comparison, and updating purchasing justification in coupa.
• Develop partnerships with vendors and customers that enable innovative solutions that generate savings and/or other value add while anticipating future customer needs. 
• Provide information of value to the organization – Market intelligence on Marketing Solutions.
• Work along with the procurement leader to ensure the following items' actions are delivered in a seamless manner to the customer.
• Work to reduce spending and improve services. Understand what’s driving the use of non-recurring vendors.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of related experience in sourcing marketing / Gifts & Merchandise.
• Excellent track record in previous customer support/customer service engagements
• Experience working directly with the US, and UK internal stakeholders.
• Experienced in Microsoft - Excel (basic to medium level).
• Sourcing and Procurement tools (Not Mandatory).
• Bachelors’ degree is a must, Master’s degree preferred.
• Open to working during EMEA & US Shift timings.
• Understanding of sourcing & procurement in Marketing / Gifts & Merchandise, also for marketing resource.
• Commodity knowledge: Understands cost drivers, major vendors, and trends in corporate gifts & merchandise.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work directly with internal customers.
• Proven ability to work in a customer-centric, deadline driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, focused on supporting your customers’ needs
• Ability to present well on the phone and in virtual conference calls.
• Understand how to make processes more efficient.
• Lead a team of Marketing Procurement Specialists.
