Locus is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Finance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable process (Setting up the vendor onboarding process, vendor payments, and reporting of PL and BS items for AP).
• Manage external teams and review their tasks related to reporting, approval, or evaluation of the expenses and AP data.
• Reconcile accounts payable on a periodic basis and follow up with vendors for balance confirmations – review of PL and BS and other MIS schedules under IGAAP and IFRS for AP and Treasury.
• Prepare MIS – Consol PL based on the correct cost center and GL mapping.
• Treasury management- prepare weekly cash movement and monthly cash flow statements (direct method) and analyze the reason for movement.
• Set robust policies and practices for employee reimbursements/ claims.
• Ensure timely closure and completeness of accruals/provisions for all costs at month end by liaising with respective business owners.
• Track budget Vs actuals before any payments are made.
• Automate both vendor payment and employee reimbursement processes to ensure adequate checker delegation of authority in a system.
• Ensure a TAT of 24 hours for all vendor escalations/employee reimbursements-related queries.
• Ensure payment of 100% vendors on/ before due dates.
• Harmonize with the Accounting team and internal partners to resolve issues of cost center mapping, GL Classification, and any GST/TDS-related issues.
• Support the metrics reporting for the relevant process.
• Conduct sessions with business owners to explain the procurement /payment process.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of specific experience in procurement to pay and book closure activities
• Good Communication skills and the ability to engage with vendors and cross functions business stakeholders in relevant discussions
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel (V Lookup/ Pivots is a must)
• Proficient in using QuickBooks (our accounting Tool) and ZOHO is a must
• Knowledge of IFRS /Ind AS is an added advantage
• Having knowledge of Finly/Zoho expenses and other similar vendor payment/employee reimbursement tools is an added advantage
• Familiar with TDS and GST implications on vendor payments/ ineligible credits/ Rate of TDS applicable/ RCM etc
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
