Assistant Manager- Finance Job in Bengaluru at ClearTax

ClearTax is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager- Finance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Day to day business advisory on direct tax matters relating to withholding, GST, corporate, supporting TDS compliance team with technical query response
• Monthly, quarterly and annual tax closing and preparing tax packs, including deferred tax computation
• Maintaining track of litigation and pursuing refunds
• Supporting seniors with tax research on technical positions and special projects relating to internal and external restructuring etc
• Assist team in monitoring tax and regulatory changes and assist to implement required system and process changes as appropriate
• Assist finance team in tax related accounting and reconciliation
• Tax accounting and GL reconciliation of open line items pertaining to tax provisions and receivables
• Ensuring all tax records are duly updated and litigation tool is up-to-date at all times
• Have a good understanding of accounting, finance, taxes, Ind AS, and regulatory compliances and provisions 
• Keen to work on multi jurisdiction tax and regulatory compliances and learning each day (such as Asia pacific region and Europe) would be preferred
• Suggest process improvements to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant Fresher (with article ship experience in tax) or 1 year post qualification experience, 
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and take initiative
• Keen to learn new skills, upgrade technical knowledge 
• Hands on with day-to-day MS sheets and along with that proactive in using new tools, technology to increase efficiency would be an add on 
• Working knowledge of SAP would be preferred.
