GSK is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Coordinate / Manage the Ointment Value Stream Engineering team to support day to day operations including troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• To lead process safety PHIRA studies like HAZID, What-if and maintain process & machinery safety programme on siteInteraction with contractor employees while performing work and Ensures strictly adherence to zero access and safe machine guarding procedures, LOTO and permit to work (PTW) as per GES and EHS guidelines.
• Ensure timely execution and entry of maintenance data generated as per Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Ensuring alignment and providing data for the tiered accountability meetings within the area and on site and Active engagement in Performance management meetings for the area e.g. Safety meetings, TIP review, RCA etc.
• Involve in self, internal audit (L1 & L2) and other inspections as per audit schedule, in the area of accountability and track timely closure of actions
• Support effective and timely RMS / QMS/ GES/ TP13 / PCCE RA requirement implementation, sustenance & improvements in respective area of accountability
• Coordination with manufacturing and with other values stream engineers for timely execution of jobs in right first time.
• Ensuring that the appropriate Change control assessment, Deviation procedure and problem-solving processes are used to avoid reoccurrence of issues.
• Ensure that all risks for the Department are identified, assessed and mitigated in accordance with risk management principles.
• Preparation of Engineering SOPs of respective areas for operational activities.
• CI/Gemba with purpose area or system owner with the aim of identifying possible issues or improvements, including safety and quality audits.
