Assistant Manager - Color, Trim & Graphics Job in Chennai at Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Color, Trim & Graphics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive CTG design for interdisciplinary projects, from kick-off to launch and deliver CTG designs against projects as agreed with project leads
• Work closely with transportation and product designers to reinforce design with CTG concepts 
• Develop graphics and color concepts for vehicles, hard goods, and accessories 
• Deliver complete ID solutions and Design realization for all Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) based Refresh/Variants and Current Engineering Projects
• Work with suppliers to develop and design innovative solutions for different materials, surface effects, and color proposals
• Lead the implementation of different projects that provide a maximum of visual and tactile impact and inspiration
• Simulate appropriate images in computer graphics (CG) software and present them for reviews both internally and externally
• Forecast and analyze color, material, and finish trends
• Work alongside the other studio-based functions and teams e.g., Clay/CAD/Program Planning/Design to develop exciting CTG proposals
• Work with Strategy to plan CTG across Make Your  Programs & special projects
• Analyze Design Brand DNA as it relates to the vehicle line and create appropriate designs. 
• Interface with and obtain input from Planning, Marketing, and Engineering teams
• Prepare 2D concept sketches using appropriate computer technology
• Collaborate with other design disciplines such as engineering, and vendors to execute project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
• Work across departments on projects such as apparel and promotional materials, illustration, marketing aids as well as the ongoing Custom bike program 
• Follow the development of physical models by working with the design and modeling team to apply paint and other finishes, 2D graphics, and 3D badges using the latest prototyping technologies.
• Research new materials and technologies, identify and benchmark relevant competitors, encourage awareness of trends inside and outside the automotive industry
• Keep abreast of Design/Color/Materials/ Technical/ Other Trends developments within automotive/other industries
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends by attending trade fairs to be aware of current trends, new materials, and innovative technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience in a similar role
