Assistant Manager - CFD Job in Chennai at Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - CFD!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and maintain high-fidelity CFD models of Engine and chassis components and other sub-systems
• Able to create analysis reports with a good understanding of results interpretation
• Develop and validate the CFD model to match with physical test correlation
• Develop CFD models for Conjugate Heat Transfer analysis, Aerodynamic analysis, and Flow analyses
• Give suggestions to modify the engine and vehicle components to improve the thermal performance
• Carry out simulations for full vehicle assembly, sub-assembly, and component level using tools like Star CCM+ and Nano FluidX
• Validate the simulations with testing
• Optimize parts and assemblies and find new solutions in close cooperation with design and product line departments

Requirements:

• Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Thermal/Aerospace/Fluid Power
• Have 1-4 years of Experience in computational fluid dynamics
• Ability to perform work with high attention to accuracy and detail
• Good to have strong knowledge of StarCCM+ Software
• Good Knowledge of Java macro creation or any other software coding is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of heat transfer, Fluid flow, and thermal management
• Design optimization concerning fluid flow optimization based on CFD simulations
