Guardian Life Insurance Company is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager - Administration!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Monitoring the existing work premises and maintaining the interiors and exteriors of the office facilities
  • Ensuring a continuous flow of stationery and other office supplies
  • Supervising the housekeeping team, upkeep of the pantry/cafeteria, and maintaining hygiene and sanitation of the entire office
  • Managing official AMCs with various vendors for AC, fire extinguishers, CCTV, and biometric machines
  • Coordinating all major events and employee engagement activities taking place in the organization
  • Handling commercial operations, vendor evaluation, vendor development, and management
  • Planning purchase functions in advance, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations, and finalization for the purchase of materials
  • Maintaining budgets and expenses for the administration function
  • Arranging travel for employees
  • Drafting and implementing all administration policies and standard agreements
  • Checking cash vouchers and obtaining necessary signatures from management
  • Managing the administration team and overseeing its operations
  • Ensuring office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and EPBX systems are working properly
  • Coordinating employee seating arrangements with operations
  • Keeping track of vacant seats and assigning new joiners
  • Overseeing travel arrangements, including hotels, cars, air, road, and rail bookings and bill checks
  • Ensuring transportation activities are efficient and vehicles are well-maintained for optimal service levels
