Asian Paints is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage all parameters related to the cost of procurement for the packing materials in the category.
• Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners.
• Interact with vendors to understand the key environment changes and accordingly indicate the plans for development required to manage cost, service, and quality.
• Estimate costs of packing materials on a quarterly basis; monitor and review the actuals against plans.
• Facilitate negotiations and contracting processes with all the vendors in his category.
• Drive efficiencies in procurement through structural interventions.
• Collaborate with plants and vendors to make sure that quality is maintained and improved.
• Coordinate with planning and plants and address issues in quality.
• Works with suppliers to progressively and gradually improve quality performance through structural interventions.
• Collaborate with Senior Manager Purchase to develop goals for the team.
• Conduct reviews with the team on an ongoing basis for various performance parameters.
• Create development plans for subordinates

Requirements:

• MBA from tier 1 & 2 campus 
• Work Experience - 1 to 3 years
